Peter also leaves behind his brothers Doug Merriman of Prospect, and John Merriman and wife Carol of North Haven; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of all ages. I didn't see Peter often over the years, since the days when Jason and I attended SMMcT together, but on the too few times our paths did cross, he never failed to go out of his way to greet me. My days working with Peter were always filled with warmth even when there were too many balls in the air and it was the thin edge of the wedge. R.I.P. Jones was the leader of the cult and ordered his followers to drink cyanide-laced punch, which they did. Always pleasant and friendly. We will all remember him through his pictures. He was the former vice president and director of the Waterbury Symphony Orchestra.
