Arrangements were handled by Haigh-Black Funeral Home. She served on the advisory board of Bethune-Cookman College, and was president of the Poinsettia Garden Club and the Silver Leaf Charity Club. Interment was at Willow Oak Cemetery in Mulberry, FL under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home. BUTTERY, Dr. Horace He was a retired mechanical engineer for the American Machine Foundry, and was a former resident of Trenton, NJ. She had 4 grandchildren. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was a retired construction engineer and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roy Fennell of Norwalk, CA and Mrs. John W. Simpson of St. Louis, MO; a sister, Mrs. Berta D. Wilson of Chipley; and 5 grandchildren. He was born in Lima, Peru to Romulo and Consuelo Castillo Flores. *** She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Toldeo, the Oakcrest Mobile Home Club of Largo and the Order of the Eastern Star. PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA: David Solomon Dyal, 83, died May 27, 2008. *** She formerly lived in Toledo, OH and came to Largo in 1978. Interment was at the Vernon Cemetery with arrangements by Blackburn Funeral Home. *** She was a member of St. Mark A.M.E. Church, and Heroines of Jericho Court #28. The funeral took place with services conducted by Rev. Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie Krebs of Milwaukee and Marilyn Beeler of West Melbourne; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was a native of Worcester, MA. He was a former resident of Lowell, MA and had lived in Florida for 10 years. He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth Abele. Arrangements were handled by the National Cremation Society. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Jackson County. HOME Arrangements were handled by Forest Meadows Funeral Home. Note: One record states that burial is at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. She was predeceased by her husband, Alton Brock; and a son, Larry Brock. There are no known surviving family members. He came to the area in 1975, and was a native of Brooklyn, NY. Franklin; and a brother, Jackie Franklin of West Palm Beach. She was a native of the Cayman Islands, and came to Florida in 1949. *** He was the son of Mrs. Eunice M. Andrews. He is survived by a brother, William V. Cooper of Pensacola. PORT ST. JOHN, FLORIDA: Galen F. Domino, 40, died December 25, 2009. She is survived by a son, Barry Batinkoff of Glenmont; a brother, Leon Taslitt of Fort Meyers, FL; a grandson; and her nieces and nephews. JUPITER, FLORIDA: Walter J. Doss, 65, died January 17, 1987 at St. Mary's Hospital. All four of his brothers were physicians. Survivors include two sons, Edgar and John; a daughter, Elsie Hernandez of Ocala; a brother, Joe Ferrari of California; and a sister, Mary Ferrari of Puerto Rico. Services were held at the Riverside-Beach, Washington Avenue Chapel. She was a native of St. Petersburg, but had lived in Cottondale for 48 years. Interment with military honors was at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Grissom Funeral Home.
